Strengthening Local Self Governance/Gram Sabha
To imbibe the Gandhi’s dream in a true manner, the organization is taking intensive initiatives towards strengthening the local self governance. To strengthening the local governance/gram sabha, the organization is continuously providing its untiring efforts since last 2 years. Various types of programme like; cultural educational shows, poster display, video-film shows, interactive meetings, objective camps/workshops etc. are being performed in concatenate. This movement has achieved its goal partially. During the panchayat election of 2005, the organization taken intensive initiative and stand 40 candidates democratically for different seats with the active cooperation of Jal Biradari. Resultantly, 30 candidates out of 40 elected at their respective seats. This campaign didn’t stop here but it is continue which is yet to be documented. Now the campaign is looking for next coming election and preparing the strategy to become successful in gram swarajya making.
